A welfarist Ministry for under-age

"All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation" 2Corinthians 5: 18 (NIV).

SABAINAH SUPPORT GROUP (SSG) registered in Nigeria as a Non- Profit Organization (NGO) IN 2021 by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) under the required regulatory laws of Nigeria.

Although, it is newly incorporated, yet it has been managed over the years by competent directors with combined wealth of experience of over 20 years in Prison Ministry Outreach especially in the northern part of the country. As a result, this Ministry has over the years impacted lives of numerous inmates through visitation and spiritual/physical empowerment.

Consequently, the desire to take this wealth of experiences to higher dimensions of ministry born out of deep spiritual urge necessitated the incorporation of this Ministry through divine direction.

Our Vision

To reconcile inmates below 20 years old back to God, to train and reintegrate them back into society. However, this is exclusive of those awaiting trials.

"Reconciliation to God, Training and Reintegration back into the society"

Our Values

We believe in excellence, integrity, transparency, resourcefulness and hardwork.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to establish genuine juvenile correctional centres with world class facilities where young lives will be transformed and restored.

STRATEGIES AND METHODOLOGIES

  • To build a 50 -100 persons capacity facility unit in existing Nigerian Correctional Centres separated with a physical fence structure from the existing facility. Each building fence capacity will be determined by the availability of space approved by the governing authority of the Nigerian Correctional Services (NCS)
  • The new facilities will be built, each, in all the NCS-approved geo-political zones. The physical structures will be the same according to an NCS-approved photo-type design with carefully thought-through acceptable standard obtainable in advanced countries. The design will not be available to the public for security reasons
  • Construction materials will be sourced from local manufacturers whilst funding for construction will be sourced from both local and international NGOs
  • High percentage of human labour will be sourced internally: within the existing correctional centres at reduced cost
  • Furniture contents for each facility will be sourced from local organizations
  • Each facility upon completion shall be duly handed over to the NCS, whilst training and spiritual development of the young inmates remains the responsibility of SSG

NOTE: To achieve all of the above, we intend to source for financial support from local and international organizations.
